Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) \u00e9tait un jour arriv\u00e9 aux fronti\u00e8res du Sham (Syrie) lorsqu’il fut inform\u00e9 d’une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie qui avait frapp\u00e9 le peuple syrien.<\/p>\n

Hazrat Umar (qu’Allah l’agr\u00e9e) a dit : \u00ab Si la mort m’atteint alors qu’Abou ‘Ubaidah bin Jarraah (qu’Allah l’agr\u00e9e) est encore en vie, alors je le nommerai calife apr\u00e8s moi. Et si Allah Ta’ala devait me demander : \u00ab Pourquoi as-tu nomm\u00e9 Abou ‘Ubaidah (qu’Allah l’agr\u00e9e) calife pour gouverner les musulmans (apr\u00e8s toi) ? \u00bb, je r\u00e9pondrai \u00e0 Allah Ta’ala que la raison pour laquelle je l’ai nomm\u00e9 est que j’avais entendu un jour le Proph\u00e8te (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) dire : \u00ab Chaque Proph\u00e8te avait un disciple sp\u00e9cial digne de confiance (de sa oumma) et mon disciple sp\u00e9cial digne de confiance (sur ma oumma) est Abou ‘Ubaidah bin Jarraah (qu’Allah l’agr\u00e9e). \u00bb (Musnad Ahmad #108)<\/p>\n

Il est rapport\u00e9 que lorsque Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) \u00e9tait sur le point de d\u00e9c\u00e9der, il forma un groupe de six Compagnons (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) et leur demanda de d\u00e9cider entre eux qui serait nomm\u00e9 prochain calife. \u00c0 ce moment-l\u00e0, Hazrat Umar (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) dit \u00e9galement : \u00ab Si Abou Ubaidah avait \u00e9t\u00e9 vivant aujourd’hui, je l’aurais certainement nomm\u00e9 calife (des musulmans). \u00bb (Tafsir Ibnu Katheer 8\/54)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
